DISCLAIMER

Sistas Conference recommends that you confirm your registration with our office prior to booking any flights and/or accommodation. Sistas Conference does not accept any responsibility for any losses incurred, including but not limited to, flights and/or accommodation booked for the conference. The organisers of Sistas Conference reserve the right to change any of the published conference details without notice, and have the final say on any matter relating to conference.

REFUNDS & TRANSFERS

We appreciate that circumstances can change, therefore, we can offer the following three options to assist you.

1. REFUND: Cancellations for registrations, received in writing (from original purchaser) before 1 March 2024, will receive a refund, less an administration fee of $15 per registration. No refunds will be made to cancellations received after 1 March 2024; Please note that refunds must be refunded to the original purchaser.
Preschool registrations are not subject to admin fees when refunded.
2. DONATE: If you are no longer able to attend Sistas and would like to donate your registration to an anonymous recipient from our Sponsor a Sista campaign, you can do so by letting us know in writing prior to conference commencement. This campaign is for those who are not financially able to register for Sistas but would love to attend. Please note once donated, the option to transfer to another (known) person or to receive a refund will no longer be available to you.
3. TRANSFER: You can transfer your registration (only once) to another person, or transfer to the Sistas Conference the year following at no extra cost prior to 1 March 2024; following this date a $15 transfer fee will apply per registration. Transfer requests to another person must be received in writing from the original purchaser. We will not accept requests to transfer a registration to a new name from the new registration owner. You may choose to sell your registration (at same or less value than original purchase cost), however, Sistas is unable to assist with finding someone to purchase it from you.
Please note transferred registrations to the following year no longer valid for refunds.

Please note all sponsorship donations and car park purchases are not refundable or transferable.

Registrations may not, without prior written consent of the Conference Team, be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via on-line auction or other unauthorised resale sites). If a registration is sold or used in breach of this condition, the registration may be cancelled, and the current holder of this registration may be refused entry into the conference.  If there may be need for special consideration of your circumstances regarding this policy, please contact our conference team to discuss further. Your registration and payment confirm that you have accepted this policy.  

CANCELLATION OF CONFERENCE

If for any reason the organisers of Sistas Conference decide to cancel the conference, you will receive a refund in full. You will be informed via email, and process for receiving the refund will be communicated to you.

PRIVACY

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO CONSENT

During the conference, we will be taking photos and filming various aspects of the conference including group images. Please note that we may use these shots to advertise future events. LIFE reserves the right to use this material for promotional purposes.

SEATING & CARE

If you have any mobility issues or require extra care at Sistas Conference, we can offer floor seating and early entry to sessions. Please indicate this on your registration (by selecting the mobility assistance option) or email the Conference Team by 1 March 2024 to let us know to help make your experience at Sistas comfortable and enjoyable. Please note, mobility car parking onsite will be at a first in first served basis. These cannot be pre-booked.

VISAS

Delegates are responsible to arrange their own visa required for entry into New Zealand. Once registered and payment has been received in full, a confirmation of registration letter can be sent to you via email. You must provide your full name, organisation you are representing, and residential address to the Sistas Conference Team. Please note we do not provide letters of invitation to delegates.
